Welcome to the New England Americana Project Vol.1
Released in 2011, the basic premise of this project was to bring together local roots musicians in order to record traditional American songs "in danger of dying". The project was intended to build community strength by bringing artists together in the studio and by taking a shared responsibility within the roots community in order to keep this music alive.
That's right. We plan to release Vol. 2 in the Fall of 2013. New local acts. Old songs that must be remembered.
